About me:

I am a Physics Graduate student at University of Virginia since August 2013. I am a theoretical condensed matter physicist. My research focuses on topological phases of matter and quantum computation. I am also interested in the applications of mathematical modeling, data science and machine learning to real world problems. Link to my google scholar page for publications.

I did my undergraduate degree in Physics from LUMS SSE and graduated in June 2012. After that I worked as a Research Assistant of Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy on Quantum Hall Effects till end of 2012. In 2013 I worked as Research Assistant Of Dr. Amer Iqbal who specializes in string theory. My work with him was to understand Modular forms and their relation to Partition functions in Number Theory and then try to apply them in solving interesting physics problems.
